Easter from a progressive viewpoint? Yes! You are invited to celebrate Easter at First United Church tomorrow morning at 10:30! Come early for Easter breakfast (9:30 am), or earlier for the Easter Egg hunt (9:05)! Children are welcome to stay in the service! Nursery care is also available for small children, and kids in K-5th grade are welcome to attend Children's Learning Time which meets during part of the service. We hope to see you there!

Community Good Friday Service - A cooperative and contemplative service that meets at First Christian Church (205 E. Kirkwood): 12:10 pm - 1:00 pm. Easter Sunday - Festivities abound! 9:05 am - Easter Egg Hunt (rain or shine) 9:30 am - Breakfast served in the Fellowship Hall. Please feel free to bring a dish, or just come and eat. The series we've just started is "The Holy Land Revealed" by Professor Jodi Magness. First United helped with this several years ago when we gave $100K from an estate we inherited.
This Sunday during worship, we will be treated to special music by our ensemble-in-residence, the Quarryland Mens Chorus! Don't forget to bring your donations of cereal and coffee for the Shalom Center - we'll be collecting them this Sunday and next Sunday.
